How to stay sane and organized as a photographer
Honeybook is a client management software for small business that provides an all-in-one platform for proposals, invoicing, payments, contracts, and more. Honeybook allows me to automate almost everything on the management side of my business. I have templates and workflows that allow brochures and other documents to go out automatically when a potential client contacts me through my website. This eliminates the time that it would take for me to see it, input their information, and send over the content. This is CRUTIAL for clients who send late night inquiries. I have woken up to clients already selecting packages for booking without having to lift a finger on my end. The fill out my contact form on my website, it automatically sends them my preselected brochure (wedding or boudoir, depending on which form they selected), and allows them to submit selections for which package they are interested in. Another amazing thing that Honeybook does is, when you sign up they will take your contract templates that you use currently and convert them into their system with options on things that can autofill when clients enter in their information (this takes around 48-72 hours I believe).

Pixieset is the platform that I use for my website. I purchased my domain and easily connected it to Pixieset to create a beautiful website. The reason I LOVE Pixieset so much is, that it is also how I can deliver galleries. There is no second location that my clients have to go to when viewing my website. I thoroughly enjoy this because I am able to lock and unlock galleries for download, clients can "favorite" the images that they are wanting to purchase and I can easily create a gallery without having to hunt them down myself, I can put watermarks on all my galleries so that clients can't screenshot and print any images they haven't purchased, and I can see exactly when and how many downloads have occurred with each gallery. I also love Pixieset because I can have my blog posts alongside all of my galleries as well. Many platforms don't have a dedicated page for blogs, requiring you to have yet another platform and subscription if you're wanting to make any blogposts.

MOO is an online print and design company. They offer a wide variety of business card options, flyers, brochures, and more. I have ordered business cards from a few other cheaper platforms, and I regret every single order. MOO business cards are absolutely phenomenal. They have tons of templates to choose from as well as the option to import your own or design your own in their system. The best part about these designs is that you can create one design for the 'front' of the card and you can upload up to 5 different designs for the 'back' of the cards.

OneNote is an application that Microsoft has. It is basically a digital notebook that you can create unlimited sections for and then separate pages under those. It's the ultimate organization system that links to your desktop, tablet, laptop, phone, and any other device that you need. A few of my favorite features are that you can easily make checklists, draw in items as needed, insert and reference images, and (my favorite is…) there is a dictate option for inputting notes. These notebooks can also be shared between different people and automatically update between each person.
Magic Hour App
The Magic Hour App (iPhone, not sure on Android) is a lifesaver! I personally paid for the full version (this allows you to see data in the future) but the free version is great too! This tells you exactly when 'magic hour' begins, when sunset is and when it ends. I paid for the full version so that I can get specific data on locations and dates in the future to help plan shoots in advance (and to help brides determine when the best time is for pictures on their wedding day).
The Planoly App (iPhone, not sure on Android) is a free app that allows you to plan your Instagram grid (and Pinterest) and captions out, and it automatically posts them for you. The free version has a limited amount of uploads per month (30 uploads) and the paid version allows more (solo for personal use and duo if you have a partner that needs to help you plan).
